I emptied myself, and I found nothing there.  I filled myself, and  I was but empty.

Had somewhere to get to, had to escape.  Took hundreds of paces in the evening, soft, sweet.  Had to retreat -- booked myself into love's Hotel.  But my lover had lost the key.

This morning I felt  Like I was mourning the death  Of a thousand lonely poets.  Each one was beautiful in his malcontent,  Aching sincerely, disparately, collectively.   
Yes, today I will ponder a portrait of Auden.  When conjuring certain images.  Where Oedipus and Christ (somehow) nobly collide,  And my followed humblest half-thoughts arrive.   
I will then sleep, too willingly with fear --  An embrace perhaps not so frail as to shatter,  But to pale amongst weary spirits,  To proudly dissipate with a broken clatt Sui Caedere

I just thought I'd update my journal, having not done so for over 6 months. In case anyone was wondering my artistic leave-of-absence will continue indefinitely.

I can feel the disappointment!
